Recently, two LEGCs built by Jiangnan Shipbuilding under China State Shipbuilding Corporation for Petredec have been signed and left the factory, and the delivery dates of the two ships are earlier than planned. So far, a total of four ethylene carriers with a capacity of 22,000 cubic meters built for Petredec have all been delivered.

Introduction to Ship

Type This type of ship has an overall length of 159.9 meters, a molded width of 25.6 meters, and a molded depth of 16.5 meters; three C-type amphorae with a design temperature of -104°C are arranged inside the hull; Cargo system, belonging to Jiangnan Shipbuilding "Camel 22E" boutique ship. "Camel 22E" is an optimized and upgraded version of the "Lusitano" series of well-known Jiangnan shipbuilding brands. Compared with the original ship type, "Camel 22E" has one less liquid tank but an increased cargo capacity of 1,000 cubic meters. In the case of changing, the fuel consumption is greatly reduced.

  3. Solidify the standard construction period, the two ships will further improve the loading accuracy of the full-width deck section, gradually increase from the original large amount of loading margin trimming to a small amount of margin trimming, and realize the completion of full-width deck hoisting in 12 days and exterior trimming in 8 days Panel coating, the overall construction period is shortened by 5 days and the quality is double improved. It is worth mentioning that the wharf construction period of the last ship in this series reached 2.5 months, which was 1.5 months shorter than that of the previous ships of the same series, and the efficiency increased by 60%.
